From May 15 to 21, Secretary General H.E. Kim Hae-yong of the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) conducted an official visit to Jakarta, Indonesia and Singapore to meet key stakeholders from various government and research institutions. The trip provided an opportunity for the Centre to introduce its major programs and discuss possible areas of cooperation. ASEAN stakeholders acknowledged the Centre’s active efforts in promoting ASEAN-Korea cooperation through its online and hybrid projects despite the persistent pandemic and agreed to pledge its continuous support to future AKC activities. AKC also reaffirms its commitment to further strengthen its network and collaboration with key ASEAN stakeholders and institutions towards advancing future ASEAN-Korea partnership.
