On June 7, the ASEAN-Korea Centre welcomed 23 government officials from the 10 ASEAN Member States and Timor-Leste, who are participating in the ASEAN Disaster Management Capacity Building Program. Khambou Thavixay, Deputy Head of the Centre gave a presentation on history, organizational structure, and activities of the Centre, which was followed by the Q&A and discussion with the four ASEAN officials seconded from the governments of Brunei, Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Malaysia, respectively.
