Secretary General Kim Hae-yong of the ASEAN-Korea Centre participated in the ‘18th Jeju Forum 2023’ on June 1, 2023. At the “From Jeju to ASEAN and Arab: Exploring Opportunities for Trade and Cultural Exchange” Session, the Secretary General emphasized the importance of ASEAN-Korea partnership and introduced the programs and roles of the ASEAN-Korea Centre. 

Meanwhile, with an aim to introduce culture and tourism of ASEAN member states and enhance mutual awareness on ASEAN-Korea partnership, as well as to promote people-to-people exchanges, the ASEAN-Korea Centre officially opened the ‘Jeju ASEAN Hall’, the only permanent exhibition hall in Jeju introducing ASEAN, in 2022.
