The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) organized a roundtable with Southeast Asian Studies academia discussing ASEAN-Korea cooperation on May 27, 2021.

H.E. Kim Hae-yong, Secretary General of the ASEAN-Korea Centre and Professor Kim Hyoung-joon, President of Korean Association of Southeast Asian Studies (KASEAS) presented their opening remarks, followed by introduction of AKC’s programs in 2021 and recent trends in ASEAN-Korea relations including development in the New Southern Policy. Discussions on ASEAN-Korea cooperation in economics and socio-culture, especially in the context of post-COVID-19 era followed.
