on 3 July, 10 delegates from Sungkonghoe University visited the ASEAN Hall at the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC). The delegates are graduate students who are majoring in Asia Non-Governmental Organization with diverse nationalities from Asia.
The youth visit program began with a lecture on AKC’s activities and ASEAN-Korea relations by Mr. Kim Yong-hee, Officer of Information and Data Unit. It continued with a fruitful discussion session among the delegates, the four ASEAN officials seconded to the ASEAN-Korea Centre, and Ms. Kim He-jin, Head of the Information and Data Unit. The main topics of discussion included ASEAN as a regional organization, cultural differences between ASEAN and Korea, ASEAN-Korea cooperation on socio-cultural areas, and ASEAN-Korea Centre programs.





The ASEAN-Korea Centre conducts the Youth Visit program with the aim of raising the awareness of ASEAN and ASEAN-Korea partnership among youths from primary school to university level.
In the situation of COVID-19, the AKC is conducting youth visit programs in strict compliance with the preventive measure guidelines and taking disinfection and sterilization measures before and after each visit.
