On August 17 and 25, students from Korea and ASEAN countries visited ASEAN Hall to gain a better understanding of ASEAN-Korea cooperation as a part of the "ROK-Mekong Youth Group Workshop" and " Youth Camp for ASEAN & Friends’ Engagement (YCAFE)" programs. Students attended a lecture on ‘ASEAN-Korea relations and the AKC’, followed by discussion session with ASEAN officials from Laos, Malaysia, and the Philippines. During discussion session, students asked regarding the future of ASEAN and ASEAN-Korea relations, environmental issues, and other interesting topics. The program ended with ASEAN Hall tour and taking group photos.

※ The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) offers the ASEAN School Tour Program for elementary, middle, and high school students and the Youth Visit Program for university students and general public throughout the year with the aim to promote the awareness and understanding of ASEAN. Since the start of the COVID-19 in 2020, the AKC has been providing the programs online as well.
