The ASEAN-Korea Centre participated in G-star 2020 which was held from 17 to 21 November with ASEAN gaming companies. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the program was held in online format where ASEAN delegates of 60 companies from 8 ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) conducted around 250 online business meetings during the event. Companies from diverse backgrounds were introduced such as the Singaporean market leader GoGame and VTC Intecom, the Vietnamese governmental organization which is mandated to promote digital content. ASEAN participants hold business meeting not just with Korean game companies such as Neowiz and Naver, but also with other overseas partners in America and Europe.
