The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korea Biotechnology Industry Organization (KoreaBio) at conference room of AKC on 16 May 2019. Through this MOU, the two organizations will explore joint efforts to implement investment and trade promotion projects, as well as human resource development and exchanges in an effort to facilitate cooperation between ASEAN and Korea in the bio industry.

In addition, the AKC and KoreaBio will be co-organizing the ‘ASEAN-Korea Bio Partnering Week 2019’ on 12-13 November, in conjunction with the BIOplus 2019. The program will be comprised of exhibition introducing ASEAN pharmaceutical machinery and technologies, 1:1 business meetings and investment promotion seminar.
