The ASEAN-Korea Centre has organized the ASEAN-Korea Investment Promotion Seminar on Water from September 19 to 21 in Gyeong-ju, Korea. The program was conducted aligned with Korea International Water Week, one of the largest Water exhibition in Korea and Asia International Water Week, the very first water forum focusing on Asia region. During the program, 12 delegates from Singapore’s water industry had 1:1 business meetings to seek potential business partners in the water industries in Korea.

At the Seminar, Kim Young-sun, Secretary General of the ASEAN-Korea Centre and Mr. Park Won-chul, a vice president of K-water attended the opening ceremony and delivered their remarks. Following the ceremony, presentations on recent market trend and potential cooperation projects were given by Korea and Singapore’s experts in the sector. Also, business representatives of 8 Singapore water companies introduced their company’s competitiveness and suggestions for Korean water companies for cooperation.

The ASEAN delegation also visited Junglang Water Recycling Centre and LI-GID Centre to learn best-practice of Korea.
