On August 9 and 11, Lim Hong-jae, former ambassador to Vietnam, Cho Tae-yul, former ambassador to the UN and students from the Korea Student Aid Foundation (KOSAF) mentoring program visited ASEAN Hall to participate in the AKC’s Youth Visit Program. Kim Hae-yong, Secretary General of AKC attended the program and delivered his welcoming remarks followed by a lecture on ASEAN-Korea relations and the AKC. During the discussion session, AKC’s Kang Ji-hyun, Head of Information and Data Unit and four ASEAN officials from Brunei, Lao PDR, Malaysia and the Philippines participated in the program and had discussion on ASEAN’s history, importance, diversity, culture & tourism digitalization and other interesting topics with the students. The students enjoyed a highly informative and engaging session with the AKC staff.

The following is the testimonial from the students:

“During the discussion session, I can feel the desire of ASEAN officials to develop ASEAN more in the future. I didn’t know much about ASEAN at first, but through this visit I got to know lot about ASEAN. I had a good time that I wanted to listen even the same lecture again.”
