Secretary General Lee Hyuk of ASEAN-Korea Centre had an official meeting with the Department of Tourism in Manila, Philippines on 9 July 2018. From Department of Tourism, Mr. Benito C. Bengzon, Undersecretary of Tourism Development, Mr. Alex M. Macatuno who is the Chief of Policy Formulation and International Cooperation Division and other officials attended the meeting with ASEAN Korea Centre. The two organizations discussed on possible initiatives that both sides can mutually cooperate for and exchanged tangible ideas for promoting tourism industry in the Philippines.
