The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) co-organized a seminar entitled “ASEAN Market & Business Opportunities in the New Normal Era” on 13 July at COEX. Commercial counselors from 8 ASEAN Embassies in Korea (Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) introduced each country’s market perspective and business opportunities in the post COVID19 era to around 150 Korean businesspeople.

Mr. Shin Seung-kwan, Senior Executive Managing Director of KITA, H.E. Amb. Lee Hyuk, Secretary-General of the ASEAN-Korea Centre and H.E. Amb. Eric Teo, Ambassador of Singapore Embassy in Korea have delivered their congratulatory remarks at the opening ceremony.

Followed by the opening ceremony, speakers from Indonesia Embassy, Lao Embassy, Malaysia Investment Development Authority, Myanmar Embassy, Philippine Trade and Investment Center, Thai Embassy, Vietnam Embassy, and Trade and Investment Unit of the ASEAN-Korea Centre have delivered their presentations.
