1. Travelers holding passports issued by Hubei Province of the People's Republic of China are restricted from entry into the Republic of Korea.
2. Validity of existing visas issued by the Consulate General of the Repbulic of Korea in Wuhan (jurisdiction : Hubei, Hunan, Henan, Jiangxi) will be temporarily suspended.
3. All foreigners with travel history within the past 14 days to Hubei Province of the People's Republic of China are restricted from entry into the Republic of Korea.
4. Visa-free entry to Jeju island for all foreigners will be temporarily suspended.
5. All visa exemption for nationals of the People's Republic of China and all foriegners coming from China will be suspended.
6. Visa-waiver program for Japanese nationals will be temporarily suspended. (as of Mar.9)
7. Validity of existing visas issued by the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Korea in Japan will be temporarily suspended. (as of Mar.9)
Japan(No Entry) Foreigners with travel history within the past 14 days to Daegu-city and Cheongdo county are barred from entry into Japan. (as of Feb.27)
- In addition to the above, as of March 7, 2020, foreigners with travel history to certain parts of North Gyeongsang province (Gyeongsan-city, Andong-city, Yeongcheon-city, Chilgok county, Uiseong county, Seongju countyu, Gunwi county) are barred from entry into Japan. (Mar. 5)
(Visa Restriction) From March 9, 2020 to April 30, validity of existing single-entry and multiple-entry visas are suspended, and visa waivers for the Republic of Korea, Hong Kong and Macau are suspended (Mar. 5)
(Quarantine Reinforcement) From March 9, 2020 to April 30, foreigners coming from the Republic of Korea, People's Republic of China (including Hong Kong and Macau) are placed under 14-day quarantine at designated areas (residence or in case of travelers, hotel) and are requested to refrain from using public transporation. (Mar. 5)
*Foreigners coming from or transiting through the Republic of Korea or the People's Republic of China are required to standby at a designated area in Quarantine Station until the fact that there are no passenger with symptoms in the plane or ship is varified. (as of Mar. 10)
(Port of Entry-Air, Sea) As of March 9, 2020, arrival airports for passenger flights are restricted to Narita and Kansai airports, and for vessels, suspension of operation if requested for passenger ships from the Republic of Korea and the People's Republic of China. (Mar. 5)

CountrywideFrom 00:00 of March 28(Saturday), temporary suspension of entry to persons with existing valid visa and alien residence permit.
- Entry to diplomatic, official, protocol visa or C visa (such as a crew member) is not affected.
- Entry to the Green Card (permanent residence permit) is not affected.
- Travelers engaged in activities such as economic and trade, science and technology in China, or with urgent humanitarian reasons, can apply for an entry visa through Chinese embassies and consulates.
GansuUpon entry of Gansu, all travelers coming outside of the country (including travelers transiting through other cities of China) are placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility (as of Mar. 17)
Upon the entry of Lanzhou, all travelers are required to make a preliminary report of basic information and immigration information, a Nucleic Acid Test is conducted after arrival in Lanzhou, if result negative, travelers are placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facilities, if result positive, travelers will be transported to a hospital(travelers bear all expenses)(as of Mar. 23)
GuangdongUpon the entry of Guangdong (Zhenzhen, Guangzhou, etc), travelers coming from outside of the country, travelers coming from Hongkong, Macau, Taiwan with history of visiting or residing at foreign country within the past 14 days, coming from other regions of the People's Republic of China with history of visiting or residing at foreign country within the past 14 days are placed under 14-day self-quarantine of 14-day quaratine at a designated facility regardless of nationality (from March 21)
*Travelers with symptoms will be transported to a hospital and placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility, others with no symptoms are subject for Nucleic Acid Test, result negatives will be transported to the residing area and placed under 14-day self-quarantine (if the traveler does not have a fixed resident area, the traveler will be quarantined at a designated facility)

*Travelers bear the expenses for quarantine and medical treatments exept Nucleic Acid Test
Upon the entry of Dongguan, all travelers coming from outside of the country are placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility(expenses responsibility are not decided)(as of Mar. 21)

GuangxiUpon entry of Guangxi (Nanning, Guilin), all travelers coming from outside of the country are placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility (traveler bear the expenses)
* Travelers transiting through other cities of China are under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility (Exempt from quarantine when holding the certificate of discharge from other regions)

NingxiaUpon the entry of Ningxia, all travelers from outside of the country are placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility (travelers bear the expenses for quarantine and medical treatment)(as of Mar. 16)
*Travelers coming from the Republic of Korea and transiting through other cities of China are places under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility
LiaoningUpon the entry of Liaoning, all travelers coming from outside of the country are placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility and be subject of Nucleic Acid Test (travelers bear the expenses) (as of Mar. 23)
*International passengers bound for Beijing, those transiting through Liaoning and arriving into via transit through other parts of China are also placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility
BeijingUpon the entry of Beijing (Beijing Capital Airport, etc), all travelers are under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility (travelers bear the expenses) (as of 00:00 of Mar. 16)
*However, for those who are over 70 years old, age under 14, pregnant women, and with base disease who are considered inappropriate for intensive isolation self-quarantine can be applied to official of the residing area (Those without approval before entry are placed under quarantine at a designated facility)
*Before entering the country, all travelers are required to report their schedules and related information to workplaces and residential complexes in advance, and after entering the country, familiarize themselves with guidelines and notices by airport, station, and checkpoint, and cooperate with quarantine
* All travelers entering Beijing after entering China through other airports in China within the past 14 days from outside of the country also required to report of their return schedule and related information in advance at the residential complex, and required to join registration process at the train station/airport site, Nucleic Acid Test, and 14-day quarantine at a designated facility (Travelers bear the expenses for quarantine and test)
* From 00:00 of March 23, all flights to Beijing can be bypassed only by 12 designated airports (Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Hohhot, Shanghai Pudong, Jinan, Qingdao, Nanjing, Shenyang, Dalian, Zhengzhou, Xian). Travelers are required to check the latest updates of announcements of MOFA, Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the People's Republic of China and airline information. (Upon entry of transiting airport, 14-day quarantine is possible according to the quarantine measure of the airports)
* All travelers entering Beijing from other Chinese provinces (without a history of overseas stay) are required to report in advance to the residential committee and placed under 14-day self-quarantine.
ShandongUpon the entry of Shandong (Qingdao , Weihai City, Yantai , Jinan, etc.), all travelers coming board on international passenger flights are under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility (as of Mar. 20)
*From March 18, all travelers coming to Shandong from the outside of country bear the expeses for quarantine, and those who do not have basic health insurance or private insurance bear the expenses as well.
* Each city in Shandong is under a pre-report system for overseas arrivals (after report for previous arrivals). The details differ according to the city/district
*For those aged 70 or older, minors under 14 years of age, pregnant women, and base diseases, upon application, a negative result of Nucleic Acid Test, consent to self-quarantine of the resident committee of residence, and approval by the quarantine authorities can be placed under self-quarantine (Those under self-quarantine are required notify relevant agencies such as the resident committee or management office of the residence in advance one day before the quarantine is lifted.)
*Travelers those transited other regions of china and quarantined less than 14 days at the first arrived place, are under additional quarantine for the remainder of the period after arrival in Shandong province (Mar. 27)
ShanxiUpon entry of Shanxi, all travelers coming from outside of the country (including those who transiting through other cities of China) are placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility (traveler bear the expenses) (as of Mar. 17)
*(Xian Xianyang Airport) Upon entry and quarantine procedure, if all passengers have no symptom of fever, the group will be placed under quarantine at a designated hotel. If any passenger with a fever above 37.3-degree centigrade, passengers around him/her (during on plane test), or all passengers (during off plane test) are standby 1-2 days until the test result. According to the result, the group will be placed under quarantine at a hospital (positive) or hotel (negative)
ShanghaiUpon the entry of Shanghai, all travelers entering the country from abroad are placed under 14-day quarantine at a desiganated facility (Travelers bear the expenses) (as of Mar.28)
*However, for the elderly, minors, pregnant women, people with mobility difficulties, people who need to care elderly or children, and the base patient, if the Nucleic Acid Test results are negative and meet the requirements of self-quarantine, self-quarantine is possible after screening.
* Self-quarantine subjects and non-subjects in the same family cannot stay in the same house, but they can be placed under self-quarantine in the same house if they accept to have self-quarantine health monitoring together.
* Those who have no abnormal symptoms and fixed residence at neighboring provinces of Shanghai, (Jiangsu, Zhejiang) are transported via a designated vehicle to the original residence and quarantined according to the local policy.
*From March 25, functions of international flights (including Hongkong Macau and Taiwan) of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport are temporarily suspended and transferred to Shanghai Pudong International Airport to be operated
XinjiangUpon the entry of Xinjiang, all travelers coming from the outside of the country are subject to Nucleic Acid Test and placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility (travelers bear expenses) (as of Mar. 19)
* In case of any symptoms, traveler will be transported to the medical facility (travelers bear medical expenses)
* All travelers directly or indirectly coming from the outside of the country are required to report their arrival to quarantine officer at train station or arport and officer at recident area
SichuanUpon the entry of Chungdu, All travelers with travel history to the Republic of Korea, Japan, Italy, the Islamic Republic of Iran, France, Germany, USA and total 16 countries are subject to Nucleic Acid Test. If travelers test negative, they are placed under 14-day quarantine at designated facility with intensive medical observation, and those with test positive or any symptoms are transported to a hospital (travelers bear expenses)(as of March 18)
* if the final destination is other region of Sichuan, travelers will follow the quarantine measures of the region
* Travelers bear the expenses for the accommodation, medical treatment, transportation and etc.
YunnanUpon the entry of Yunnan, all travelers with a travel history to abroad within the past 14 days are placed under 14-day quarantine(travelers bear the expenses) (as of Mar. 26).
* If travelers volunteer to undergo two Nucleic Acid Tests and one serum antibody test and are tested negative, the remaining 7 days can be converted to self-quarantine after 7 days of quarantine at a designated facility.
* Three days prior to arrival, an entry plan must be notified to the competent government of the residence, either directly or through the company, hotel or family members.
* Applied to travelers transiting through Yunnan as well.
JiangsuUpon the entry of Jiangsu, all travelers are placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility and under intensive medical observation (basically travelers bear the expenses, but expense measures differ according to each city) (as of Mar. 23)
ZhejiangUpon the entry of Zhejiang, all travelers coming from abroad are placed under 14-day quarantine and intensive medical observation (travelers bear the expenses) (as of Mar. 18)
* If the destination is Zhejiang, fill in the relevant information through the pre-report platform (refer QR code in the notice of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai homepage) / If travelers have already entered the country, travelers are required to report the relevant situation to the residence's jurisdiction or workplace and comply with quarantine regulations.
* Travelers with the purpose of short-term business activities, if the results of the Nucleic Acid Test are negative upon arrival, the traveler can proceed their business activities in restricted area with the consent of the local quarantine department and conduct health inspection measures.
Jilin(Changchun Airport) All travelers coming aboard passenger flights from the Republic of Korea and Japan are placed under 14-day quarantine at designated hotel. (as of Mar.1)
Upon the entry if Yanbian, all travelers coming from outside of the country are placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility (as of Mar. 20)
* Senior citizens over 65 years old, pregnant women, infants, those who have lost their physical function and intellectual abilities, base patients, and students who have to take online classes at home can be placed under self-quarantine.
* Includes travelers transited trough other cities of China depared from outside of the country
* From March 21, during the intensive quaratine of the all travelers coming to Jilin from the outside of the country travelers bear the expenses of accommodation and expenses of medical care after confirmation is personal expenses for patients without medical insurance, and the cost of transportation, Nucleic Acid Test and lung CT examinations are free.
ChongqingUpon entry of Chongquing, all travelers coming from abroad are subject to Nucleic Acid Test. In the case of test negative, each region will transport travelers to place under 14-day quarantine (travelers bear the expenses). In case of test positive or with other symptoms, the traveler will be transported to the hospital (traveler bear the expenses) (as of Mar. 26)
TianjinUpon the entry of Shandong (Qingdao , Weihai City, Yantai , Jinan, etc.), all travelers coming board on international passenger flights are under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility (as of Mar. 20)

HainanUpon the entry of Hainan (Haikou, Sanya, etc), all travelers with travel history to COVID-19 affected countries within the past 14 days are placed under 14-day quarantine at a designated facility (travelers bear the expenses) (as of Mar. 16)
*However, senior citizens aged of 70, children, pregnant women, and base patients with individual residence without cohabitee, can report to the city and the current command of the residence before entry and apply for self-quarantine (if necessary, one guardian can apply for the quarantine).
* All travelers required to report regional office until 48 hours before arrival to Hainan

HenanUpon the entry of Zhengzhou, all Travelers coming from outside the country are placed under 14-day quarantine and medical observation (travelers bear the expenses) (as of Mar. 29)

List
