Secretary General Kim Hae-yong of ASEAN-Korea Centre commented that “ASEAN and Korea have made remarkable achievements in areas of political-security, economy, and socio-culture since the establishment of Dialogue Partnership in 1989. As partners for a mutually beneficial and future-oriented partnership I hope the ASEAN-Korea Forum can provide a chance to hear about the opinions of experts on building a sustainable ASEAN-Korea partnership. Especially as major summits including the ASEAN Summit and ASEAN-ROK Summit has concluded recently and the Korean government has presented its policy towards ASEAN - Korea-ASEAN Solidarity Initiative (KASI), I believe timely discussions will take place.”
