ASEAN-Korea Centre to draw brilliant young ideas on ASEAN-Korea partnership

- The ASEAN-Korea Centre to host the Youth Workshop themed ‘My Amazing Thailand’ on Wednesdays from 1 August -
- The Thai Book Exhibition displaying around 300 publications and multimedia materials on Thailand to take place until 5 October -

Seoul, Korea – The ASEAN-Korea Centre (Secretary General Lee Hyuk) will organize the Youth Workshop and the Thai Book Exhibition under the theme of ‘My Amazing Thailand’ at the ASEAN Hall (8th floor, Press Center building) in Seoul in celebration of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Korea. Both events will be supported by the Royal Thai Embassy and the Association of Thai Studies in Korea.


The Youth Workshop will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesdays from 1 August to 5 September. It will offer a wide range of programs, including a lecture on Thailand-Korea relations; Thai quiz contest; Thai traditional clothing experience; ‘My Amazing Thailand’ paper notebook making; special talks on Thailand and ASEAN; as well as a career exploration activity. Free online registration is open to elementary and middle school students, teachers, and parents at www.aseankorea.org. There will be 20 places available on a first come, first served basis in each session.


Furthermore, the Thai Book Exhibition will be open to the public from 1 August to 5 October. It will display around 300 publications on Thailand including educational books on history, architecture, culture, arts, and cuisine; travel guide books; children books; as well as multimedia materials and illustrations.


The ASEAN-Korea Centre runs the ASEAN Hall, a multipurpose space which holds various exhibitions, lectures, and youth programs throughout the year. It is open to the public from 9:30am to 5:30pm on weekdays.
