The keynote presentation will be made by Mr. Edmund Araga, President of the Asian Federation of EV Associations (AFEVA) who will share on the growing significance of the EV industry in ASEAN and the status as well as prospects for ASEAN-Korea cooperation in the sector. The first session of the Forum will share on the latest policy updates with experts from organizations such as the Korea Electric Vehicle Association (KEVA), Korea Trade- Investment Promotion Agency(KOTRA) and the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in Korea. In the second session, speakers from the EV Associations of Malaysia and Thailand along with business leaders of Korean companies will discuss business opportunities in the respective EV markets.

Under the initiative to promote trade in innovative sectors, the ASEAN-Korea Centre has been exploring new areas for enhancing ASEAN-Korea cooperation.
